What started out as a lifestyle change became my daughter's passion. I brought my daughter to PacWest about 3 years ago after her pediatrician recommended we monitor her weight. With childhood obesity rates on the rise it had become a concern of mine as well. Little did I know dance would become her passion. PacWest dance instructors inspired my daughter in ways no other activity has. We started out taking hip-hop with Miss Brenna and by the end of the season she was no longer so shy and reserved. As the recital approached I was so nervous but she loved being on stage. Her confidence level soared. That summer we tried 3 other classes and in the Fall she enrolled in Ballet, Hip-hop, and Lyrical. Her goal was to now be a part of the PacWest Performing Company! With that in mind PacWest instructors were very open and encouraging about what she needed to do to reach her goal. At the last visit to her pediatrician, the doctor said that she grew 3 inches, her weight plateaued and she is doing great! Who knew that taking one dance class would produce such positive results and become my daughters passion. Thank you Kelly and PacWest instructors!

I strongly consider the influences that I invite into my kid's lives. I feel so grateful that Kelly has such a passion for creating an environment that is safe, creative, positive, clean values (modest costumes and music) and helps kids develop their character through dance. I feel good dropping my teenage daughter off knowing that the teachers Kelly has added to her team are professional, love the kids, and set a high standard for the girls to reach up to. Do not, I repeat do not sign your child up for dance at PacWest unless you are prepared for them to fall in love. Three years ago, my daughter signed up for ballet and tap. She now takes 10 classes a week and I couldn't be happier. She spends her time in a positive environment, being exposed to the arts. Her teachers are talented dancers and gifted teachers. The Director, Kelly, is an inspiration to my daughter not only because of her great talent and passion for dance, but as a young woman who owns and runs a small business in our community. I am so thankful to have the gem that Pac West is in this small town that we live in. I would recommend dance classes at this studio to anyone; from tiny babes to adventurous moms. Frankly, Pac West just makes us smile.
